Exterior Engineer Job Description

Mobeco Group B.V. is seeking a skilled Exterior Engineer to join our team in the yachtbuilding industry. As an Exterior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the coordinated development of the final design of a Feadship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed engineering designs, 3D models, and datasheets for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate yacht equipment and exterior doors seamlessly into the exterior design.
  • Work closely with engineers and senior engineers from other engineering disciplines to ensure successful integration of shaftline and steering systems.
  • Elaborate deck, ceiling, teak, and railing arrangements, as well as local arrangements such as exterior furniture, exterior stairs, exterior pillars, exterior masts, and exterior sun awnings.
  • Assess input from designers and suppliers for feasibility and feasibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar role in yacht construction and/or interior construction.
  • Knowledge of production techniques and experience with the feasibility of engineered parts.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Experience with Solid Edge, Solidworks, NX, Teamcenter, or AutoCAD.
