Background Information
The EUV light source is a critical component of ASML's lithography systems, and the Machine Conditioning EUV Source department is responsible for specifying, analyzing, designing, and testing fluid and thermal sub-systems and control solutions. Within this department, the Source Infrastructure group focuses on specifying, designing, and qualifying gas and cooling water supply systems.
Your Assignment
As an intern, you will work on providing guidelines for understanding and predicting the static and dynamic performances of flexible hoses. Your tasks will include investigating existing literature, creating numerical models, comparing results with experimental evidence, and validating the models through ad hoc test cases.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- Good knowledge of mechanics, mechanical dynamics, and theory of vibrations
- Experience in static and dynamic calculations (FEM analysis)
- Proactive approach and curiosity-driven mind
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
This is an apprentice/graduation internship for 4-5 days a week (2-3 days on-site) with a duration of 5 to 8 months. The internship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the development of ASML's lithography systems.
