About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to join our team at Picnic, a rapidly growing online supermarket. As a Senior Controller, you will play a key role in shaping our financial future and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial control activities, including revenue, margin, inventory, and goods movement
  • Develop and implement financial processes and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance
  • Design and implement new accounting processes and automate existing ones
  • Challenge operations teams to improve periodic reports and financial data
  • Lead complex accounting topics during year-end audits
Requirements
  • Relevant master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • 8+ years of experience in a finance-related role, such as group controller or finance manager
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to lead teams and drive results
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
  • Accounting system knowledge, with experience in Workday a plus
