Job Title: Public Procurement Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Procurement Consultant to join our team at Sia Partners. As a Public Procurement Consultant, you will provide expert guidance and support in public procurement processes and public tenders, ensuring compliance with regulations, efficiency, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Collaborate with government agencies and organizations to develop effective procurement strategies, assess current processes, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Procurement Policy Development and Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with procurement policies and procedures, stay up-to-date on changes in public procurement laws, and advise clients on compliance requirements.
- Public Procurement Tenders: Assist clients in drafting comprehensive requests for public tenders, evaluate and select suppliers based on meeting the selection criteria, and award contracts to suppliers.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitor vendor performance, and address any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Training and Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops for client staff to enhance their procurement knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Master degree in applied economics, law, engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
- 3 to 6 years' experience within a consultancy firm or governmental institution.
- Knowledge in public tendering procedures, including strategies, obligations, rules, and threshold amounts.
- Outstanding team player and good communication skills.
- Analytical mind, exploring options, and able to synthesize into conclusions.
- Autonomous, dynamic, result-oriented, rigorous, and committed.
- Language skills: fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
