Business Intelligence Developer

Are you passionate about data-driven decision making and eager to join a dynamic team in the liquid logistics industry?

We are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Developer to join our Stolt Tankers Business Technology & Innovation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data platform, working closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, and providing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our data platform, data, and Stolt Tankers processes and systems to become a true BI partner to the business.
  • Train and assist business end users in data handling and reporting.
  • Perform regular maintenance of data pipelines and reports, addressing stakeholder feedback.
  • Monitor the data environment to ensure data accuracy and currency.
  • Participate in peer-reviews and actively contribute to work method improvements and the creation of new possibilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data and business intelligence to continuously improve team capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in computer engineering, mathematics or econometrics.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT or specifically with Data Science.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A drive to use your technical expertise to solve data questions and explore new technological possibilities, which will facilitate Stolt Tankers to be more professional and advanced with data.
  • Must have a clear sense of responsibility and ability to prioritize tasks.
