Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our Digital Development and Innovation (DDI) team at SBM Offshore. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing Power BI reports to provide insights into business performance, trends, and patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Power BI reports in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, load, and store data.
  • Support and train business users in effectively using Power BI reports and data for self-service purposes.
  • Manage day-to-day progress of projects, proactively communicate with stakeholders, and work with experts from various disciplines to get their input or support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Azure technology and BI best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in BI development, with a focus on Azure technology.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and Azure Data Platform.
  • Python knowledge a plus.
  • Strong data modeling and data warehousing techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
