About the Role


We're currently looking for a (Senior) Asset Diagnostics Engineer who is interested in data analysis to predict maintenance needs. As an expert in your field, you'll work closely with customers to resolve issues and improve equipment performance. Your responsibilities will include performing vibration analysis, oil analysis, control system, and hydraulic performance analysis using advanced automated decision support systems.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Perform high-quality condition-based maintenance (CBM) data analysis and create reports to support equipment maintenance.
  • Provide technical support in areas of expertise.
  • Continuously improve and develop condition monitoring services in collaboration with other stakeholders to maintain technological leadership.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance and asset management concepts to enhance customer value.
  • Offer technical support to sales organizations to improve the success rate of offering processes.

Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, asset management, marine engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience with or interest in propulsion equipment, vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and condition-based maintenance.
  • Technical knowledge and interest in hydraulics, hydrodynamics, and control systems.
  • Affinity for scripting and/or programming (e.g., MATLAB).
  • Mandatory English and Dutch language skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as technical reporting abilities.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive attitude and ability to learn.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent primary and secondary terms of employment and a healthy work-life balance.
