Job Title: Marketing and Communications Director

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Salary: € 3,400 - €4,400 gross per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Communications Director to lead our marketing efforts and enhance our brand reputation. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing brand awareness campaigns, and protecting our reputation at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define the long-term brand strategy for our hotel and its facilities.
  • Develop and execute marketing and brand awareness strategies for all sub-brands, including restaurants, bars, and wellness centers.
  • Ensure our hotel and its outlets are recognized as leaders in their respective categories through impactful marketing and communication efforts.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and optimize all marketing activities to drive business impact, ensuring alignment with our commercial goals.
  • Work closely with department heads and report directly to the Deputy General Manager/Commercial Director.
  • Participate in strategic discussions with senior management and advise on key decisions.
  • Lead and inspire a marketing communication team, fostering creativity and performance.
  • Manage the Marketing & Communication budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve targeted ROI and support hotel objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience with strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across departments and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in leading projects.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
