About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing & Communication to oversee all aspects of marketing, public relations, and internal/external communication. This leadership role involves developing strategic corporate communication plans, managing brand awareness campaigns, and protecting and enhancing the hotel's reputation at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the executive team to define the long-term brand strategy for the hotel and its facilities.
- Develop and execute marketing and brand awareness strategies for all sub-brands, including restaurants, bars, and wellness centers.
- Ensure the hotel and its outlets are recognized as leaders in their respective categories through impactful marketing and communication efforts.
- Monitor, evaluate, and optimize all marketing activities to drive business impact, ensuring alignment with the hotel's commercial goals.
- Work closely with department heads and report directly to the Deputy General Manager/Commercial Director.
- Participate in strategic discussions with senior management and advise on key decisions.
- Lead and inspire a marketing communication team, fostering creativity and performance.
- Manage the Marketing & Communication budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to achieve targeted ROI and support hotel objectives.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is essential; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Proven leadership experience with strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships across departments and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
- Creativity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in leading projects.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
