Marketing and Communications Specialist

As a Marketing and Communications Specialist at Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam, you will be responsible for assisting the Marketing & PR Manager in expanding and maintaining brand awareness and presence. Your key responsibilities will include developing marketing and communication campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales in the F&B outlets and Spa.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and create marketing materials following the brand's guidelines to promote hotel services and F&B outlets and Spa.
  • Plan, organize, and manage monthly photography and video shoots on property, liaising with operational departments during the shoot.
  • Create photography and video materials and manage content for the hotel, local newsletters, and social media accounts.
  • Manage outlet websites on a substantive level through a CMS.
  • Upkeep of media database image library as per the brand's naming guidelines.
  • Write and edit texts for paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Supervise the Marketing Intern and follow up on their daily projects and deadlines.
  • Social media monitoring with the team, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others, comments and messages need to be monitored within maximum 2-3 hours.
  • Maintain a personal up-to-date knowledge on product and service offerings, rates, and new developments of key competitors, and an awareness of general industry trends to provide monthly updates on market intelligence.
  • Support in PR events or contacts if requested by the PR and Marketing Manager.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Hospitality, Marketing & Communications, or Digital Media.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Design, Marketing, or e-Commerce role, with work experience in a luxury hotel being a plus.
  • Goal-oriented work approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
  • Excellent knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Photography and video shooting/editing skills.
  • Good administration skills and knowledge of Windows Suite of programs.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills and proficiency in the English language, with Dutch being a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to perform multitasking while handling various assignments.
  • Enthusiastic to adjust practices according to changes while having a strong growth mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressured environments.
