Shipbuilding Planner

We are seeking a skilled Shipbuilding Planner to join our team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our technical documentation department, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring all our projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

• Create baseline planning for all project activities, collaborating with project management and technical documentalists
• Develop integrated project plans and logistic schedules, analyzing and identifying bottlenecks for improvement
• Maintain and analyze operational planning, providing progress status overviews and hour forecast information
• Prepare project information for multi-projects planning, analyzing and planning workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow
• Provide timely and accurate planning-related responses to internal customers

• Experience with planning tools and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions
• Administrative background and attention to detail
• Good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken
• Able to work independently and proactively seek necessary information
