Senior Mechanical Engineer Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering R&D department, you will be responsible for leading a team of 15-20 engineers and driving projects to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of engineers to ensure project timelines are met and deliver high-quality results.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to identify project requirements and implement creative solutions.
- Develop and drive the development of innovative products, leveraging your expertise in mechanical engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Connect with industrial partners, knowledge centers, and universities to support our product roadmap.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with experience in design principles of mechanical system development.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering sophisticated mechanical engineering projects.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
