Supply Chain Internship: Materials Planning and Sales Operations

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team within the European Specialized Nutrition S&OP team at Danone. As a Sales and Operations Planning Intern, you will play a key role in ensuring product availability by balancing supply and demand across local markets and manufacturing sites in Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Support the S&OP Material planning team with running mid to long-term planning monthly routines.
  • Co-lead improvement project(s) for Material Planning, focusing on inventory monitoring, performance tracking, and network harmonization.
  • Support in day-to-day data materials availability management.

  • Integrated Business Planning - S&OP in a complex FMCG network.
  • Materials Requirement Planning fundamentals.
  • Problem-solving & driving actions based on insights utilizing BI tools.
  • Stakeholder management across functions and geography.
About You

We are looking for a Master's student in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or any related field. Previous experience in Supply Chain is a plus. You should be highly motivated, like to challenge yourself, and have an eye for detail, allowing you to complete assignments quickly and accurately. You should have an analytical mindset, an affinity for data processing and optimization, strong Excel and Power BI skills, and a great interest in efficiency and automation.

Requirements
  • Enrolled as a Master's student during the whole internship period.
  • Available to start in October 2024 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English - oral and written.
  • Able to work from the Hoofddorp office 2 times per week.
  • Relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.
