Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of systems and service/maintenance of the installed base.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and commercial awareness, with a flexible and proactive attitude. They will be responsible for supervising installation, start-up, and commissioning of supplied systems on-site, involving frequent international travel.

The Commissioning Engineer will also be responsible for conducting system testing, including coordinating internal tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation, start-up, and commissioning of supplied systems on-site
  • Conduct system testing, including coordinating internal tests, FAT, and SAT
  • Perform panel tests and set up test facilities in cooperation with the projects department
  • Conduct functional testing of engineered systems and create proper test records
  • Compile project documentation, installation manuals, operation manuals, and test procedures, including software documentation
  • Provide service and maintenance, including performing periodic maintenance and validation of installed systems
  • Provide customer support on installed systems, either from the KROHNE office or on-site
  • Organize training sessions and prepare training documentation for internal and external use
  • Support other departments with problems related to existing systems and sales processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant working experience
  • Strong technical and commercial awareness with a flexible and proactive attitude
  • Interest and knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, particularly Custody Transfer Metering and associated supervisory systems
  • Familiarity with CT standards and guidelines such as ISO, AGA, API, OIML, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PLC and SCADA software, computer systems/networking, field instrumentation, communication protocols, and software programming in general
  • Knowledge of software development methods, automated testing, and software architecture
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken
