Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Manager

Isobionics B.V., a leading ingredients company, is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global flavor and food legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global registration and listing checks for new flavor substances, working closely with innovation and research units and product management team to support global launch.
  • Assessment of regulatory and scientific risks and options of innovative molecules in early development phase, participation in set-up of launch strategies for promising candidates and coordination of data generation for flavor launch in collaboration with (eco)toxicological experts and in line with global product safety.
  • Coordination of flavor registration/notification of these substances under global flavor laws.
  • Coordination of discussions with internal and external stakeholders together with toxicological experts, global product safety, research, legal, and product management for parts of our existing product portfolio.
  • Ensuring compliance and monitoring national and international flavor/food legislation.
  • Responding to customer questions and maintaining product-specific documentation and information in our IT systems.
  • Representing BASF's interests in flavor associations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in natural sciences, food chemistry, or related scientific discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in flavor regulatory affairs and/or product safety.
  • Knowledge of EU (and preferably other global) flavor legislations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English (German and/or Dutch are advantageous).
  • Well-developed analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset.
