Supply Chain Data and Process Improvement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious intern to join our European Central Logistics team as a Logistics, Data and Process Improvement Intern.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving our logistics processes and data utilization within the EU transportation flows. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with our EU-based supply point and CBU teams to ensure a consistent network data animation.

In this role, you will be at the center of our team, collaborating to animate and engage a broad group of stakeholders, process data to support our logistic excellence projects, and develop new ways of using existing datasets and tools.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Becoming the point of contact for our European factories regarding our web-based tool and related developments.
  2. Collecting, consolidating, and ensuring the accuracy of the data within the tool.
  3. Animating and engaging stakeholders to improve data utilization.
  4. SUPPORTING LOGISTICS IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
  5. Understanding, analyzing, and reporting data, communicating it in an adapted manner considering your target group.
  6. Driving improvement projects related to EU Logistics and TCTS process and data processing.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  1. A student in a Master's degree majoring in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or other related fields.
  2. Able to think analytically, supported by fluency in Excel and Power BI.
  3. A strong communicator with fluency in English.
  4. Able to see the big picture, draw conclusions, propose pragmatic decisions.
  5. Experienced in supply chain/logistics (a plus).
  6. Open to change, willing to learn and develop themselves.
  7. Able to work individually, in a team, and be proactive.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled as a Master's student during the whole internship period.
  • Be available to start between November 1st and January 1st for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days a week.
  • Be fluent in English – oral and written.
  • Be able to work from the Hoofddorp office 2 times per week.
  • Relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and obtain a BSN number.
