Corporate Investments Associate

ING Corporate Investments is seeking a talented and ambitious Associate to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the structuring and execution of complex equity investments and mezzanine debt transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess investment opportunities, including evaluating business models and financial statements, financial modelling and forecasting, writing debt/investment proposals, and coordinating internal and external deal process parts;
- Review transaction documentation;
- Support senior team members in transaction origination and execution;
- Collaborate with clients, external advisors, and co-investors in transaction execution and portfolio management;
- Manage equity participations and subordinated debt positions;
- Prepare pitches, presentations, market analyses, financial analyses, internal reporting, and shareholder meetings;
- Coach and educate interns and analysts;
- Collaborate with other ING teams to create integrated client solutions.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or equivalent;
- 3-5 years' relevant experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Banking;
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills;
- Proactive problem-solving nature;
- Fast decision-making skills under pressure;
- Competitive attitude and eagerness to constantly improve;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Drive, proactiveness, and genuine curiosity.
What We Offer
- Salary tailored to your qualities and experience;
- 36 or 40 hour workweek;
- Individual leave: 24+2 individual holiday days based on 36 hr workweek;
