From our depot in Stadskanaal, we play a crucial role in the logistical process, ensuring that waste is collected and processed in the most efficient and environmentally friendly way possible.

Job Responsibilities

As a Planner at Renewi in Stadskanaal, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the routes of our trucks. You will ensure that the collection process runs as smoothly as possible, taking into account environmental requirements, customer agreements, and maximum utilization of the vehicle fleet. Your primary tool in this process is the Fleet Planner program, which you will use daily to optimize routes and leverage your experience.

Your tasks will include:

  • Developing and optimizing daily transportation plans for our trucks.
  • Monitoring the progress of routes and making adjustments as needed.
  • Communicating with drivers and providing support for operational questions or changes.
  • Ensuring efficient use of the vehicle fleet and drivers.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as customer service and operational teams, to ensure a seamless execution of collection activities.
Requirements

What do you bring to the table?

  • Experience as a planner in the transportation or logistics sector.
  • Experience with the Fleet Planner program is a must.
  • Solution-oriented and stress-resistant in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and make decisions in a changing situation.
  • Residency in the Emmen, Veendam, Stadskanaal, Winschoten, or Zuidlaren area.
