From our depot in Stadskanaal, we play a crucial role in the logistical process and ensure that waste is collected and processed in the most efficient and environmentally friendly way possible.


Key Responsibilities

As a Planner at Renewi in Stadskanaal, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the routes of our trucks. You will ensure that the collection process runs as smoothly as possible, taking into account environmental requirements, customer agreements, and maximum use of the vehicle fleet. Your primary tool in this process is the Fleet Planner program, which you will use daily to optimize routes and where you have experience.

Your tasks:

  • Develop and optimize the daily transportation plan for our trucks.
  • Monitor the progress of routes and make adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate with drivers and provide support with operational questions or changes.
  • Ensure efficient use of the vehicle fleet and drivers.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and operational teams, to ensure a smooth execution of collection activities.

Requirements

What do you bring?

  • Experience as a planner in the transport or logistics sector.
  • Experience with the Fleet Planner program is required.
  • Solution-oriented and stress-resistant in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and make decisions in a changing situation.
  • Residence in the Emmen, Veendam, Stadskanaal, Winschoten, or Zuidlaren area.
