About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Specialist to join our team at Swift. As a key member of our Agile and DevSecOps teams, you will be responsible for securing our applications and services, identifying opportunities for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure software development practices, including secure coding, security testing, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with Agile and DevSecOps teams to integrate security into the software development life cycle.
- Develop and maintain security standards, guidelines, and policies to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating security risks.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, and provide guidance on their implementation.
- Coach and mentor team members on security best practices and provide training on security-related topics.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of application security, security architecture, and threat modeling.
- Experience with secure coding practices, security testing, and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
