About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to join our dynamic Infra & Cloud team at Allseas. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, encompassing both our on-premise and cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage on-premise (Cisco-based) and cloud network infrastructure, such as Azure and Cisco Enterprise Networking.
  • Implement network security and adhere to compliance to Allseas policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize our network infrastructure to achieve an optimal network performance.
  • Document our architecture and build and maintain procedures to share knowledge within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • You have a HBO/BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and a minimum of three years of experience.
  • You have good communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
  • Experience with Cisco IOS-XE and Nexus-OS.
  • Experience with Fortigate Firewalls and Fortimanager.
  • Familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco DNA Center.
  • Understanding of Cisco-SD-Access, Cisco ISE.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Azure certifications) are preferred.
