What will your role entail?
 As a Management Trainee in Hotel Operations, you will gain comprehensive insights into the hospitality industry. Collaborating with various departments, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities following an extensive onboarding process. Your role will involve assisting departments during peak times, serving as a liaison for guests and staff, and managing guest complaints effectively. At the end of each shift, you will document all handled issues in the Duty Report to ensure a seamless transition to the management team. This traineeship offers a wealth of responsibilities and the opportunity for personal growth in a vibrant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Engage in thorough cross-training across multiple departments to understand the hotel operations fully, subsequently performing tasks with guidance; Support various departments during high-demand periods; Develop innovative solutions in challenging situations for the benefit of guests, staff, and the hotel under the supervision of the Duty Manager; Assess operational efficiencies and discuss improvements with colleagues; Act as the primary contact for guests and team members, with work hours determined by hotel activities; Address and follow up on guest complaints, sharing insights with department heads to prevent future occurrences; Prepare Duty Reports; Proactively contribute ideas on how to exceed guest expectations.

Who are you?

You are currently enrolled in a hospitality program at a recognized institution and have prior experience in a managerial role within a luxury hotel or restaurant; You possess a strong passion for the hospitality sector and thrive in a dynamic setting; You present yourself well; You are proactive and can perform under pressure; You excel at multitasking; You pay attention to detail; You are guest-focused and sociable; You handle confidential information with discretion; You are eager to learn and can work independently; You are motivated and adaptable; You have excellent communication skills; You are proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and Opera; You are fluent in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

What do we provide?
Contract: Trainee agreement for a minimum duration of 5 months
Salary: Monthly trainee compensation of 750 euros for a 38-hour workweek
Holidays: For internships lasting at least 6 months, you will receive 1 day off per month
CAO: Governed by the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry
