Position Overview

As a Senior Sales Training Specialist, you will be instrumental in equipping the sales teams of our partners and resellers to achieve their objectives. Your focus will be on enhancing product expertise, sales techniques, and overall effectiveness, ensuring they are well-prepared to represent and market our offerings successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Your Role

You are a motivated and adaptable individual who demonstrates leadership, can mentor fellow trainers when necessary, oversees training initiatives, introduces innovative training methods and materials, and formulates a comprehensive training strategy annually. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders and representatives to assess training requirements, design educational content, and conduct training sessions.

Core Duties

Product Development:

Analyze retail and training market trends. Design and deliver training programs within financial constraints. Integrate client feedback into educational resources. Create and revise instructional materials and tools.

Training:

Align theoretical concepts with practical applications in training sessions. Develop and enhance training content. Assess the effectiveness of training programs. Provide clients with reports on training results.

Project Management:

Develop annual training strategies. Oversee training projects. Collaborate with sales teams on key account strategies. Maintain and refresh training materials. Act as the primary contact for clients. Effectively manage time and schedules.

Leadership:

Communicate goals and processes to the team. Assign tasks based on team members' strengths. Promote communication and teamwork. Conduct regular progress reviews.

Relationship Management:

Establish and nurture business relationships. Garner support for training initiatives. Share knowledge through workshops and presentations. Coordinate with corporate headquarters. Organize training events.

Skills and Qualifications

Your Profile

Our ideal Senior Sales Training Specialist possesses the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Dutch and English. Proven experience in sales training, ideally in a B2B or channel sales context. Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, capable of engaging and motivating audiences. Experience in creating and delivering training content across various formats and platforms. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. A keen interest in technology, innovation, and staying informed about industry developments.
