Job Description

As an Air Freight Project Specialist at DSV, you will handle all air freight shipments that are a bit different from standard general cargo. This includes time-sensitive express shipments, military goods, and unique heavy transports. Your expertise in special cargo air freight shipments will enable you to manage these transports smoothly, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.

  • You will process orders in Cargo Wise and convert them into import or export shipments.
  • You will organize and book transport with carriers, airlines, and shipping companies.
  • You will monitor booked shipments to ensure a smooth transportation process.
  • You will update our clients on current shipments via phone and email.
  • You will monitor client agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs), periodically informing clients about the results achieved.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience focused on special cargo air freight.
  • Vocational (MBO) working and thinking level, with motivation and ambition being more important than formal education.
  • A good command of the Dutch (B1) and English language, both written and spoken.
