About the Role:

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Senior Product Engineer with a strong background in server architecture to take ownership of product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and support various server products.
  2. Develop technical product requirements for cloud/data center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends, and business needs.
  3. Escalate critical issues to high-level management and vendors for solutions as needed.
  4. Develop training sessions to ensure sales awareness on Supermicro system solution offerings.
  5. Provide 3rd-level customer support to both internal and external teams as needed.
  6. Maintain infrastructure for EMEA Customer PoC Labs.
  7. Set up Proof-of-Concept for customers and provide support during the testing period.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. Server hardware knowledge and hands-on work with servers/networking equipment.
  3. 5+ years of Linux/network administration skills with proven troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  4. Familiarity with TCP/IP protocol stack, IPv4-IPv6, DHCP, PXE, and other application-level protocols.
  5. Familiarity with HPC, AI, Cloud, and networking architecture (Ethernet/InfiniBand).
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking out of the box is a must.
  7. Positive attitude, desire to learn, time management, and strong interpersonal skills are a plus.
  8. Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
  9. Must be solution-oriented, a team player with the ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner and be proactive in driving solutions.
  10. Full professional proficiency in English required, additional languages (Dutch, German) preferred.
  11. Must be punctual and detail-oriented.
  12. Must possess an excellent ability to follow up on planned actions.
  13. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote and provide solutions.
