Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Sr. Product Engineer with a strong background in server architecture and product development. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of market trends and be able to partner with Product Managers to define product vision and strategy for server/system products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support various server products.
  • Leverage technical expertise to create product requirements for cloud/data center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends, and business needs.
  • Escalate critical issues to high-level management and vendors for solutions as needed.
  • Develop training sessions to ensure sales awareness on Supermicro system solution offerings.
  • Provide third-level customer support to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Server hardware knowledge and hands-on experience with servers/networking equipment.
  • 5+ years of Linux/network administration skills with proven troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocol stack, IPv4-IPv6, DHCP, PXE, and other application-level protocols.
  • Familiarity with HPC, AI, Cloud, and networking architecture (Ethernet/InfiniBand).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full professional proficiency in English required, additional languages (Dutch, German) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers to promote and provide solutions.
