Platform Operations Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Platform Operations Engineer to join our team at Studyportals. As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on scalability and security, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new functionalities, ensuring the overall Platform maintenance and innovation, and owning and improving our infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any other Cloud Computing Platform, building modern applications with JavaScript (ES2017), TypeScript, and NPM, and a strong grasp of automation tools. You will be part of the Platform Operations team, working closely with our Engineering teams to support their processes and improve our infrastructure, platform-related tooling, and CI/CD process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new functionalities to improve Platform scalability and security.
  • Ensure overall Platform maintenance and innovation, owning and improving our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to support their processes and improve infrastructure, platform-related tooling, and CI/CD process.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in the web industry as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any other Cloud Computing Platform.
  • Experience with building modern applications with JavaScript (ES2017), TypeScript, and NPM.
  • Strong grasp of automation tools, with the ability to make objective cost/benefit assessments.
  • Experience with network security and technologies, and system, security, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
