Job Title: Electrical Engineering Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Coordinator to join our team at Oceanco. As an Electrical Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the realization of our yachts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and realize the availability of all engineering documents related to the electrical discipline.
  • Develop a detailed planning and delivery schedule for engineering documentation in close cooperation with your manager and involved third parties.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Regulatory Authorities, Owner's Representative, Designers, and Subcontractors to monitor day-to-day progress and alignment of engineering work.
  • Solve upcoming planning and progress problems and adjust and align all parties involved.
  • Ensure a timely and accurate information flow, both internally and externally.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a functionally assigned team of subordinate in-house professionals.
  • Take over the tasks/action of the design team during the contract phase.
  • Coordinate the Engineering package to the level of production information and remain content responsible throughout the building process.
Requirements:
  • Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+) related to the electrical discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience preferably in the maritime industry and/or yacht building industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within the specific technical discipline.
  • Decisive, persuasive, customer-oriented.
  • Comprehensive view of the entire process.
  • Proud and passionate technical professional eager to learn.
  • Pro-active and problem-solving in approach.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience related to electrical expertise.
  • Knowledge of MS office applications, AutoCad.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Experience in Basic & Detail engineering electrical (Process) and preferable in developing Electrical Design.
