Quality Engineer

CHEP, a leading global provider of supply chain solutions, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services, while also contributing to the development of our quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Plant Manager in the implementation and maintenance of our quality management system (QMS) and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the quality of our products.
  • Lead the GMP audits throughout the site and ensure that all quality documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Own all activities concerning pest control and ensure that all necessary measures are taken to prevent pest infestations.
  • Have ownership of all quality-related training and ensure that all employees are properly trained.
  • Ensure that all testing of containers is conducted in accordance with our quality validation and verification plan.
  • Perform regular product audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer standards.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Pallecon container business and technical specifications.
  • Audit standards and compliance.
  • Data analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Cross-functional team working.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma in a relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality-related role.
