Job Title: Project Manager NPI

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at VDL Enabling Technologies Group. As a Project Manager NPI, you will be responsible for introducing and industrializing new mechatronic modules and/or systems from the development phase to the 'release for volume' phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bearing product manufacturability and process/product quality
  • Providing product improvement proposals
  • Instituting and ensuring the VDL ETG production process according to the agreed-upon goals in terms of quality, logistics, technology, and costs
  • Optimizing and ensuring the VDL ETG supply chain
  • Reporting on project progress, both internally at VDL ETG and externally to the client
  • Ensuring the realization of prototypes and pilots
  • Handing over the project to the client Program team, responsible for the serial production of the NPI industrialized products
Requirements:
  • HBO or WO degree in Technical Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Extensive experience in project management within the complex manufacturing industry
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Familiarity with the high-tech industry
  • Excellent technical and commercial insight
  • Good analytical skills; working systematically and planfully; stress-resistant
