Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our Den Helder team. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs to a range of equipment, ensuring they are safe and ready for use in an operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnoses, and repairs to equipment in line with work plans and company quality standards.
- Assist with the rigging up, building, and rigging down of equipment as required.
- Operate a forklift to move, load, and unload equipment, provided you hold a current driving qualification.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and prepare documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Report incidents and non-conformances in a timely manner.
- Update job packs and return them to the foreman/supervisor at the end of each work period.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely completion of tasks and mobilization/demobilization updates.
- Participate in morning meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status, and mobilization updates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A technical qualification.
- At least 2 years of previous work experience in a related field.
