Quality and Food Safety Officer

At Bunge, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Food Safety Officer to join our team in Zaandam. As a key member of our Quality and Food Safety department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our lecithin products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality and food safety management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent non-conformities and customer complaints.
  • Support internal and external auditing processes to ensure the effectiveness of our quality and food safety management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide regular reports to internal stakeholders on quality and food safety performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Process Technology, Food Technology, or related field.
  • At least 6 months' experience working in a quality and food safety department environment.
  • Experience with risk assessment and quality management systems such as HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP+.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, and knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
