Parts Sales Engineer

Damen Services is a department that supports the sales organization of Damen in selling vessels by providing additional value in the form of services. Our mission is to deliver high-quality services that increase the likelihood of customers choosing Damen again for their future needs.
The RoleWe are seeking a Parts Sales Engineer to join our regional team in Gorinchem, Netherlands. As a Parts Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing spare parts to our customers in the Americas region. You will work closely with our account managers and sales team to approach customers and meet their needs in the field of spare parts, logistics, and common activities.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively approach customers to inform them about the possibility of delivery of specific components;
- Responsible for the proactive sales of spare parts within your region;
- Coordinate the logistics process for successful sales, including ordering materials and maintaining contact with suppliers;
- Maintain accurate records of projects and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders;
- Collaborate with colleagues to strive for a better result every day;
- Completed vocational or Bachelor's degree in a technical or commercial direction;
- Between 3 and 5 years' experience in a technical sales role, preferably within a Service Department;
- Strong communication skills in English (near native); speaking Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage;
- Result-oriented, with initiative and management skills;
- Pragmatic, persuasive, and able to influence and manage expectations;
