Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Operator to join our team at Applied Medical. As a key member of our sterilization team, you will be responsible for operating the ethylene oxide sterilization process and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the ethylene oxide sterilization process and equipment, ensuring compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Perform regular physical inspections of sterilization equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Handle and move products throughout the sterilization process, ensuring efficient and safe handling practices.
  • Verify the configuration adequacy of incoming goods and ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Notify the Sterilization Engineer of any issues with equipment or processes.
  • Document all steps in the sterilization process, ensuring accurate and complete records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Ensure effective communication with colleagues to ensure smooth shift transfers.
Requirements
  • Affinity with technical systems, such as large boilers or complex equipment.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to access and enter computerized data.
  • Ability to work in a 3-shift environment.
