We are looking for a highly skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our Sourcing team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have experience with data analytics and be able to provide insights that support decision-making. You will work closely with multiple disciplines, including Data Analytics, Supply Planning, and the Sourcing team.

As a Data Insights Specialist, your goal is to support decision-making and gain insights on our sourcing activities. You will apply your data analytic skills to analyze large datasets and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Your findings will help us make informed decisions about our sourcing activities, ensuring we achieve our goals while maintaining operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing insights regarding effects of sourcing efforts, such as savings, sustainability targets, cost tracking, and supplier performance;
  • Translating product insights into opportunities for our buying teams;
  • Create and build dashboards to monitor results and keep track of projects;
  • Providing operational insights and translating those forward to future estimations.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree related to data analytics and 3-5 years of relevant working experience;
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain statistical output;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with big data;
  • A strong personality, excellent business partnering, and communication skills;
  • Advanced PowerBI and Excel knowledge and experience;
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English (Understanding of Dutch language is not a requirement, but a nice to have);
  • Affinity with IT Systems.
