Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Nanomedicine and Drug Delivery
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy, LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of nanomedicine and drug delivery, with a focus on developing innovative therapeutic approaches for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop novel small molecules, nucleic acids, and peptide therapeutics for targeted drug delivery.
- Prepare and characterize nanoparticles using state-of-the-art techniques, including electron microscopy imaging.
- Conduct cell culture studies using cell lines, primary cultures, and/or patient tissues for efficacy evaluation.
- Develop and implement in vivo studies to assess the therapeutic efficacy of advanced therapeutics.
- Collaborate with clinical collaborators to obtain ethical approvals and human tissue samples for subsequent studies.
- Disseminate research findings through the preparation of research articles and presentations at international conferences.
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Data Science, or related fields.
- Postdoctoral experience preferred.
- Proven track record in conducting high-quality biological or chemical research.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
