Software Development Expert with Enterprise Integration

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team at Arηs Developments Hellas. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the improvement of our development and build process, while designing and developing production-grade enterprise systems that utilize messaging and microservices.

In this role, you will participate in the Java implementation of applications and micro-services, integrating with search engines, and writing backend code in a reliable, fast, scalable, and secure way. You will also be responsible for writing OAUTH authentication mechanisms, implementing validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests, and assisting with deployment and configuration of the system. Setup CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes is assumed.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms and SOLID principles, using Java 11 or higher. Experience with Java frameworks like Spring and SpringBoot is essential, as well as familiarity with JavaScript front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, jQuery, React/Angular2. Proficiency in REST frameworks like Spring MVC and tools like Postman is also required.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of professional experience in OOP paradigms and SOLID principles using Java 11 or higher, with at least 2 years of experience with one JavaScript front-end framework. They will also have experience in application development environments like Java 11+, Eclipse or Intellij, Maven, and Git. Experience in design and development of components like REST APIs, integrations, and micro-services is necessary, as well as proficiency in relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server.

Additional requirements include experience with Spring Data and Hibernate, Agile software development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, Container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, Messaging systems like ActiveMQ, CD/CI systems like TFS/Azure DevOps, and Front-end web application development using JavaScript, jQuery, JSP. Familiarity with Enterprise Integration methodologies and patterns, No-SQL and graph databases, and ElasticSearch is a plus.
