About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in IT support and helpdesk roles. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support and overseeing IT asset management in our Amsterdam office. This role involves troubleshooting IT issues, coordinating with external vendors, ensuring compliance with IT security policies, and supporting key business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely assistance for IT-related issues, including applications, services, and hardware
• Diagnose and resolve problems with the local area network (LAN) and other office IT infrastructure
• Coordinate with external IT vendors to ensure efficient service delivery
• Monitor vendor performance and coordinate support for hardware repairs, software updates, and IT services
• Manage IT procurement and asset records, track inventory, and oversee the proper disposal of outdated equipment
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in an international or corporate environment
• Experience managing IT procurement and vendor coordination is a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and IT asset management tools
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) – required. Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.
