Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure API Resource to join our team at GeekSoft Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and continuously improving our clients' online platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • API Design and Development: Collaborate with development teams to design and develop APIs that meet the requirements of our clients.
  • API Management: Implement API solutions using Azure API Management (APIM) and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance through monitoring and optimization strategies.
  • RESTful API Design: Design and maintain RESTful services while integrating APIs with various enterprise applications.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Set up, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • API Security: Implement security best practices for APIs, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT, and establish API governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate integration and DevOps requirements into effective technical solutions and provide technical support and troubleshooting for API and DevOps-related issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in API management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure API Management.
  • Skills: Proven experience in setting up and managing Azure DevOps pipelines, designing and implementing RESTful APIs, and familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
