Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure API Resource to join our team at GeekSoft Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and continuously improving our clients' online platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement API solutions using Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Collaborate with development teams to define API specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure API high availability, reliability, and performance through monitoring and optimization strategies.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • Ensure seamless integration of APIs and services through automated deployment workflows.
  • Implement security best practices for APIs, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
  • Establish API governance policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and reviews to maintain robust API implementations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate integration and DevOps requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for API and DevOps-related issues.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for development teams on API management and DevOps practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends in API management, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
  • Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance API management and DevOps processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years in API management, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure API Management.
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Strong understanding of API security frameworks and protocols.
  • Proficiency in API design using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build automation.
  • Familiarity with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
