Highly Skilled Data Center Project Manager

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.

As the Development Project Manager – Europe, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design, preconstruction, and construction activities on various projects. Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality results within budget and schedule constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each project
  • Create and communicate project updates on a monthly basis, suitable for executive-level reviews
  • Work closely with QTS stakeholders, design, and construction teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including site designs and capital budgets
  • Ensure timely and effective entitlement and permitting processes for assigned projects
  • Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards
  • Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services
  • Collaborate with the strategic procurement team to optimize equipment procurement and delivery processes
  • Coordinate submittals with site stakeholders and ensure project timelines are met

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including management of Lump Sum, Construction Management @ Risk, and Design Build project delivery methods
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or master's degree in engineering, management, or related field

SALARY:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
