Job Overview

This role requires an experienced operations specialist with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, particularly in datacenter environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our datacenters, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an operations specialist for electrical and mechanical systems, working independently on advanced tasks.
  • Inspect and supervise facility equipment regularly, identifying unsafe or abnormal conditions and escalating them according to company policies and standards.
  • Utilize our internal computerized maintenance management system to track equipment assets and complete work order requests.
  • Respond safely and quickly to onsite incidents, leading teams and coordinating with other professionals to perform corrective repairs.
  • Develop and enhance emergency operating procedures, methods of procedure, and standard operating procedures related to electrical and mechanical operations.
  • Perform various types of maintenance and repairs following established procedures, including planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Have a hands-on understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting, providing consultation to lower-level colleagues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security requirements, business processes, and procedures to perform work safely and reliably.

This is a key position in our Cloud Operations & Innovation team, requiring a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As a Senior Datacenter Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering our cloud services, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong experience in mission-critical services, such as high-availability assembly, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Proficient in written and oral English communication to support regional and global teams.
  • Associate degree or technical trade certification, or higher-equivalent education.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $140,000, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
