We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Wafer Alignment department at ASML. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of tooling for data analysis and help us push the boundaries of innovation in the field of lithography.
Background InformationOur Wafer Alignment function plays a critical role in creating the horizontal wafer deformation model from measurements. This model is then communicated to the expose side of the scanner, where it is taken into account during exposures. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineers to develop and refine this tooling, leveraging your knowledge of programming languages such as Julia and Python.
Your AssignmentAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing part of the tooling required for data analysis. This will involve working with our engineers to design and implement algorithms, as well as testing and refining the tooling to ensure it meets our high standards.
Your Profile- You are a bachelor student in Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- You have basic programming knowledge and linear algebra knowledge (matrix vector operations, matrix inversion).
- You have knowledge of data structures (Julia/Python, pandas data frames).
- You are pro-active and capable of working independently.
- You have great communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

You will also receive a monthly internship allowance of maximum €600, as well as practical guidance from our experts in the field.
