Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods through our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift and reach truck, with a preference for those with a valid license.
  • Meet quality and productivity metrics, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Receive and put away inventory, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Pick and pack orders, loading and unloading merchandise with care and attention to detail.
  • Complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Escalate any issues with shipments to the account coordinator, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Keep the warehouse area clean and organized, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
  • Balances individual responsibilities, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Consistently at work and on time, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand or sit for long periods, with frequent reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Regularly lift and/or move 25 kilos, with occasional heavier lifting required.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and/or reach truck, with certification by Crane Worldwide Logistics.
