Financial Administrator for International Entities

This role is based at our head office in Rotterdam where you will be working as part of our financial department. The department is responsible for accounting for all entities in the Netherlands as well as various foreign branches such as Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, and Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct, timely, and complete processing of financial data for these entities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coding and checking invoices and registering them in the administrative system.
  • Maintaining contacts with suppliers and the internal organization about the correctness of invoices.
  • Checking suspense accounts.
  • Signaling late deliveries of invoices and failure to follow processes properly.
  • Ensuring timely payments to suppliers for domestic and foreign entities and liaising with domestic and foreign suppliers regarding payments and supplier inquiries.
  • Maintaining the accounts payable mailboxes.
  • Processing bank statements for the various domestic and foreign entities.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be accurate, a team player, and strong communicator. You should have an affinity with computer systems and be able to quickly master them (Navision & White Vision). Additionally, you should have excellent skills in MS Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Teams. A good command of both Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing, is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position and a completed finance education on MBO+ level. Based on the requirements of this role, we estimate the salary to be around €40,000 - €50,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. Furthermore, you can expect competitive primary and secondary employment conditions, including 25 vacation days and 13 ADV (reduction of working hours) days, holiday pay at 8% of the annual salary, and an annual bonus of 4% of the annual salary.
