We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day financial administration of complex contracts and entities, including the monthly closing process and provision of accurate management information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the financial administration for assigned contracts/entities.
- Act as a right-hand for the local Operational Manager and deliver financial support, coordinate the financial agenda, and follow-up on financial matters.
- Run the monthly closing process, submit monthly financial reports, and management reports.
- Prepare and submit budgets and forecasts.
- Compose and submit tax-filings in compliance with local legislation.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Support on foreign payments, customs duty process, and ensure proper filing of relevant documents.
- Participate in Finance Projects and contribute to the development and optimization of financial processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance.
- 4-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience in an international setting, including foreign legal entities and complex taxation.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
- Analytical skills, critical thinking, team player, hands-on, self-starting, pragmatic, and able to work with different cultures.
