Job Title: Interim Data Engineer 3DX

Damen Naval, a leading naval shipbuilding company, is seeking an experienced Interim Data Engineer 3DX to join their team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and building advanced naval vessels for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter information into the 3DX PDM/PLM tool, utilizing expertise in Microsoft applications and 3DX.
  • Maintain data integrity within your scope, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in engineering reviews, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Technical Subcontract Manager(s) to define, establish, and test functional and physical interfaces.
  • Identify inconsistencies in data completeness and report to the Technical Subcontract Manager(s).
  • Assist subcontractors and suppliers in preparing and executing their contributions to projects.
  • Support the integration and engineering of different systems and components within your scope.
  • Help other team members interpret data from subcontractors and navigate the 3DX PDM/PLM tool to access required information.
Requirements:
  • Secondary vocational degree (MBO-4) in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Experience in data entry using PDM/PLM tools, databases, and Microsoft applications.
  • A passion for working in multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • A basic understanding of engineering concepts and practices, with some engineering experience.
  • Experience in a maritime engineering environment is a plus.
