About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Software Architect to join our team at TradeTracker.com. As a key member of our Development department, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and developing the future of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-level architecture for our software products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Develop and maintain complex, high-performance web applications using PHP and modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying best practices to ensure our software remains competitive.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in developing complex web applications with PHP, with a strong focus on architecture and scalability.
  • Expertise in modern PHP frameworks, including Zend and MVC principles.
  • Deep knowledge of PHP's internal workings, including memory management, performance tuning, and security practices.
  • Experience with cloud-native development, particularly in AWS environments.
  • Proficiency in Docker and containerization, with experience in deploying and managing containerized applications at scale.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
  • Industry expertise in the advertising and marketing technology sector is highly desirable.
