About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Tactical Purchaser to join our team at Royal IHC. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the project-related procurement process on a tactical level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary focal point within the project for suppliers on all aspects related to the procurement package.
- Develop a sourcing strategy in a team for a specific product range within the PMG Offshore Energy.
- Assist in improving delivery performance for project-based materials.
- Participate in the procurement process, including Request for Quotation, Evaluation, Contracting, and Expediting.
- Define negotiation strategies with the Manager Procurement.
- Manage the execution of project procurement technically and commercially, ensuring PO execution is in line with specifications, planning, and budget.
- Create a performance improvement plan with key suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of engineering or economics.
- 3 years of relevant experience in procurement within the Hydraulic, Offshore, Marine, or similar business in a technical and/or commercial position.
- Technical knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
- Experience with procurement processes.
- Proactive behavior and ability to work independently.
- Tactical-minded, good communicator, structured, and willing to take initiative.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
What We Offer:
- A gross monthly salary between €3620,- and €5279,- +8% holiday allowance (based on a full-time working week).
- Good work/life balance with 40 vacation days for full-time employment with the option to buy or sell (additional) leave.
