Job Title: Platform Team Leader

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Team Leader to join our team at Skytanking. As a Platform Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality performance standards in the smooth, timely, and accurate processing of passenger baggage and aircraft turnaround.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete processes and activities in accordance with CAA and DfT regulations and procedures of airlines, airports, and the company.
  • Accurately and efficiently sort outgoing passenger baggage.
  • Lead the aircraft turnaround process and actively participate in related processes (including but not limited to aircraft arrival, baggage unloading, baggage loading, aircraft departure).
  • Provide safe and efficient service of Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
  • Regularly perform preventive maintenance within the operational environment (including but not limited to FOD removal, GSE control/cleaning).
  • Provide assistance and input in case of problems with baggage loading/unloading with accuracy and efficiency, keeping Team Leaders informed.
  • Work together as part of the team to maximize collaboration and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by line management.
  • Ensure all Service Level Agreements with airlines are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all Key Performance Indicators are met or exceeded.
  • Address any performance deviations promptly and fairly to ensure the integrity of the Skytanking Group.
  • Compliance with all regulatory bodies, HSE, airlines, airports, and company procedures.
  • The ability to perform all tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and in a safe manner within defined time limits.

  • 22.5% overtime pay in addition to your basic hourly wage.
  • Other allowances for tasks such as de-icing or first aid personnel.
  • Reimbursement of travel costs up to 20 km one way (max. € 9.20 per day).
  • If you travel to work by public transport, your travel reimbursement is a maximum of € 16.20 per day.
